I’ve mentioned before how my book sale numbers have left me wanting (which is to be expected when I don’t really advertise, and I can’t seem to write fast enough to keep people interested).
But this last month has surprised me. Shocked me, even. Prior to August of 2023, the highest number of individual books I’ve sold in a month was 6, which was literally the first month I published my first book (November 2020). After that, my top was 3 in a single month (which happened a total of 3 times).
For the month of August, I sold 9 books. Then just yesterday, another sale of all 3 of my books. That’s a sale of 12 books in 30 days, by far the highest number of sales (and it will be the highest royalty payment) I’ve received since the start.
So now, I think I have to do my best to get my 3rd Ruby book done and out, then convert my one and only Vella (at the moment) to a long form book for release, then start getting my GPA books onto Vella before converting them to long form books. Seems the best option to get them out there and make some money at the same time.
With all the crap going on right now, I need the extra revenue (even though it’s not a lot yet).
