
The majority of books published by Aurora Reese will fall between 3 and 4 chilis on the Chili Scale. However, there are plans to release a series of compilation books in the future that consist of standalone scenes of a sexual nature that will likely fall into the rare 5 chilis score. Stay tuned!
Triggers and Content Warnings
Ruby Lips 
- BLOOD & BITING – Ruby is a vampire, and therefore there are multiple scenes of her biting into skin and drinking blood.
- CANCER – Characters mention having had cancer or witnessing those with cancer. This includes minor physical descriptions of them looking vital, as well as just prior to losing their fight with the disease.
- CHILD DEATH – Passing mention of the death of a young child. No descriptions of the death or lead up to it.
- OBSCENITY – Strong/vulgar language is used.
Dripping in Ruby 
- AGE GAP – Due to immortality, some characters are intimate with others that can be decades or centuries older/younger.

- PARENT DEATH – Brief mention of a character’s parent passing long before story takes place.
- SEXUAL ASSAULT – A character is in a situation where they are in the beginning stages of a sexual assault, but the attacker is removed before any harm can occur.
UNDERCURRENT 
- ADULT-MINOR RELATIONSHIP – Brief mention of an unseen adult character having a relationship with a 15-year-old. Only mentioned once.
- ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION – Characters self-medicate by drinking, later consuming only the occasional drink. Mentioned in passing several times.
- CHEATING – Characters are physically intimate with people other than their significant others.
- DIVORCE – Several mentions of characters divorcing or considering divorce. The process of it is never brought up.
- NEGLECT – Characters suffer from partner neglect by being ignored, disregarded, dismissed, and trivialized.
- RECREATIONAL DRUG USE – Brief mention of partaking in a marijuana brownie.
- STORMS – Most of the story takes place in an area where heavy thunderstorms are present.
